Harvest and Production
We only use grapes from our best vineyards to produce this wine. Our grapes are strictly controlled for quality and picked vineyard by vineyard, by hand, to ensure that they are at the optimal point of ripening. After harvesting the grapes, the must was macerated for 25 days. Then it was
aged in choice barrels made of American oak from the finest coopers, where it aged for 6 months. We took great care of our wine while it was in the barrels, topping it and racking it in the spring.
Finally, the wine was fined with egg white prior to being bottled.
Tasting notes
Colour: Clean, brilliant, deep cherry red, with hints of purple shades.
Nose: Powerful fresh red fruit, strawberry, raspberry, red currants, well balanced with the oak, reminders of resin and spicy finos and slightly toasty undertones.
Taste: Strong, round tannins with a smooth lingering finish, perfectly balanced with their acidity.
